EXPLANATION TEMPLATE
Remember the S.E.E.E structure

Statement - Use a starter sentence to state a cause - To be a good scientist you need to be . . . 
E
Explain - Define the cause - this means . . . 
E
Example - connect to the reader - for example...
E
Effect - explain the effect of the cause - if you do that then . . .

WALT use the S.E.E.E structure to write an explanation about friendship

Title
This will start with HOW... or WHY...

Introduction
What are you going to explain?  How will you hook the reader in?
Best friends are like groups.friends are like  people who never turn their back on you .you're best Friends are like a person who you can rely and trust on
Paragraph One
What is your first statement or main point? (S.E.E.E)
Friends is a person who you can trust and talk to with the things that had happened and  who you can trust with all of your dark and deep secrets 
Paragraph Two
What is your second statement or main point? (S.E.E.E)
Friends is like a family member,friends will always be there when your not in mood and when you feel lonely,friends is the person who can be trusted 
Paragraph Three
What is your third statement or main point? (S.E.E.E)
Friends are people that can be looked up to and trusted. Usually friends have similar interests. A friend is one who admires a person's skill and helps or encourages them to make the right choices
Conclusion
The conclusion sums up all the ideas and repeats a key message to end.  This could be a recommendation or a personal connection.
Friends make sure that you do not get into any trouble at all. The strength of the bond of friendship between two people can change one another
